Fábio Carlos Lucas de Oliveira. PT, PhD is a physiotherapist, postdoctoral fellow at Université Laval (Quebec City, Canada), and Associate Editor at the BMJ Open Sports & Exercise Medicine.
Since 2011, he is part of the professional circuit of tennis (ATP World Tour) as a “physiotherapist of professional tournaments” and “personal physio” to elite tennis players.
His main area of interest is in high-quality clinical research to determine the effectiveness of rehabilitation practice (programs, methods, techniques, resources, tools, etc.) with a focus on upper limb musculoskeletal disorders and sports injuries.
Other interests include health-related tennis science, general musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and rotator cuff-related shoulder pain.
